Neutral? Do You See Your Doc As A Doc That Sees You As A Patient, Or Maybe More Than That And Goes A Bit Further?

Nothing bad or such etc, but I know that they have a job to do with your condition and you, but I think that primary doc that left and is on leave takes it to another level let's say , I think that she has a genuine care and concern for me and her patients and I can tell of that from a few situations I didn't expect to happen and did, but for the good in general for the relationship with my condition I have and the person being me and the other people she treats, I admire that about my doc for… read more

A doctor who sees you as a whole person and not just a medical condition can provide better care tailored to your individual needs. This level of personalized care often leads to better health outcomes. The new doctor made a great first impression by being proactive and bringing up something helpful that you hadn't thought to ask about. It sounds like you have a good medical team that genuinely cares about your wellbeing.

Ever since I had Epileptologists for a Dr. , they all kept finding different paths to take with my Epilepsy. They did much more than just putting me on meds. They found alternative treatments to try with me.

The Neurologist who took care of me for 40 years just retired. I had her cellphone number to call if needed. The Yale Neurology Doctors I deal with now care a lot about me. I communicate with them through a Web Site easily.

My epileptologist and I became close friends. In fact, I hadn't seen him or his wife (she's an epileptologist, too) for more than five years and when I went to the annual fundraiser for the Epilepsy Foundation, there they were. He said they were just talking about me. We talked for about two hours and it was split down the middle - half health issues, half personal.

I'll never forget them and I'll be forever grateful...for how comfortable they made me feel and for all of their help all the way to the surgery.

Feel that all my doctors treat me as I am the only patient they are seeing during my visit. They all take their time and give me their full attention.
