A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone have “emergency rescue meds”:that they don’t get to in time? I must’ve felt a seizure coming on yesterday, I took one out of the package. saw it on the table later.

I have Ativan and nasal inhaler! It’s the timing to use it! If I have quick warning no chance, other times I can use it!

The Seizure Recovery meds , are mostly Anxiety type medications. There are different brands and types . The Seizure Recovery/ anxiety meds , help relax the brain a little to help slow down the seizure activity. Eventually helping them stop .

Like I mentioned above . I do use a seizure recovery medication ( liquid Lorazepam ) , only when needed . So if I have cluster seizures acting up , I would use the recovery medication to slowly stopping the clusters.
