I’ve been offered sleeping pills, tried them for a while and found I was usually more awake than when I didn’t take them. Plus the pain will wake me at all hours and with FM( fibromyalgia) there is no cure; just try to manage the symptoms and pray something works. And it doesn’t help that it’s starting to get daylight again (1 1/2 hours), so that messes with my sleep pattern as well- not as much as when it’s 24/7 daylight; but it’s the start. So there’s really nothing that can be done, but I was wondering if anyone else had heard of something that might work.

Having fibromyalgia, epilepsy, and PTSD can be extremely challenging. Research shows these conditions often overlap and managing them together requires a customized approach. It's important to have a health care team that recognizes and treats any additional diagnoses you may have. Some things that may help in managing these conditions include participating in therapy and peer support groups, improving sleep quality, reducing stress, avoiding drug and alcohol use which can negatively impact treatment, and finding a community of others who understand what you're going through.

I can relate to what you are saying about, I am going through a few things that are with me and my condition of epilepsy and my sleep was so,so at first, but I have noticed in my recent month it's not what it was, I did bring up to my doc appt about aug of last year, I may have a slight case of insomnia, but she didn't address the subject I had brought up to her, but recently I noticed it disrupting my sleep and called her office and she is going to call me back on 14 of this month, I think that she will have a good discussion about my condition and the circumstances that are at hand and try to suggest a treatment plan to level out my condition so I can get a more stable sleep in my life with, it's not a bad condition of insomnia but I think she's going to make it easier for me as best she can, but I hang in there and try and stay pos and so can you, my opinion,

I agree with you and your post and the other people's posts here, I think it's dif per person, but go to your doc about the question here and see what they recommend for you and your condition and concerns about the matter at hand and go from there, and good luck with your condition and outcome with you and your condition and such etc, my opinion
