Sunlight Energy

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Newcastle upon Tyne, UK

After my recent seizures I am feeling drained of energy, tired and my bruises are taking a long time to heal. I have been recommended more time in the sunshine (not direct or midday sun) to help boost energy, help the immune system and ease depression. Anyone else think this helps?

How Do You Feel About This Article On COVID Brainfog

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Westchester NY

When I first started reading, I was angry b/c I thought the article was going to say that everyone has brain fog and memory problems, so it would minimize what we go through. But then I saw it as an opportunity to help others understand what we go through, COVID or not, as it focuses on the brain and cognitive impairment.

For Those Of You With Seizures In Your Sleep, Can You Provide Details About How You Feel In The Morning?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Lakeville, MA

I am asking if you, of course do not have the seizure and fall off the bed. Do you wake up with all kinds of body pain besides an obvious headache? I am just wondering if I have added sleep seizures to my collection because yesterday I woke up with pain in my back (top and bottom and a little sore on left leg). And this morning I am sore all above my waist and both of my legs. And I have never have gotten a sore neck from shoveling snow, or moving furniture, so that eliminates both of them… read more

You need to talk to a doctor about these experiences. I’ve never fallen out of bed but I do wake up in pain a lot particularly after an active day. I attribute this to age. But I would definitely… read more

Do You Know Of Good Books, Articles, YouTube Videos, Etc. That Are Best To Share The Truth About Epilepsy?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Lakeville, MA

There are books like A Mind Unraveled that give perspective from someone with Epilepsy from when he first was having spells, when he was told it was seizures, etc.

What we need is the best sources (which he did not have then) that can explain in Plain English the realities of Epilepsy (compared to all of the myths that the media have been telling them for at least the last 60 years). We need a Epilepsy 101 source that we can get out to educate people who are actually interested in learning the… read more

How Bad Is The Government And Political Division In Your Nation?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Lakeville, MA

Enough of this Blue team vs Red team bull! We have to get back to the USA that only has the Red, White and Blue team that has members who are capable of civil debate and compromise to solve the problems.

Trump may possibly be the worst president in US History, but the analysis of this will not come until 10 years from now by a group of experts that are not emotionally connected to the moment and analyze all of the facts regarding the current situation and comparing them of other times in US… read more

Will The Vaccine Become Mandatory?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Sacramento, CA

Looking forward to the day when the pandemic is over and everyone is able to go back to work to a different normal. There is discussion about businesses only taking employees back if they have taken the vaccine. What if your beliefs says otherwise? What if you are flat out not comfortable with the vaccine? Is it possible a company can follow this decision to protect themselves? I'm probably going to make a lot of enemies with these questions, but your thoughts?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member

Absolutely! Though watch out what you say about them taking away your rights because in most cases they cannot do so outright but have being chipping away at them for years. And both the Red and… read more
