Has Anyone Else Noticed Sounds As A Seizure Trigger?
I have noticed one of my triggers is audio related (answering of a cell phone for instance or when I call someone and it starts ringing) as opposed to visual triggers. Has anyone else noticed this? Lights flashing do not bother me at all but certain pitches and sounds can trigger an aura for me... typically involving cell phones.
It's mainly smells that set me off

If You Have Replaced Tegretol, Which Other Drug Took Its Place?
Following my neurofeedback sessions I was able to reduce my seizures significantly. And the seizures I continue to have almost always occur when I am asleep. It would seem as though I can control my brain activity much better when awake.

Question About Triggers
This may have been asked before but I couldn’t find it.
If something is a trigger, does that mean that every time you’re exposed to it you will have a seizure or does it greatly enhance your chances at the time of the exposure.
Mine are flashing lights, stress, too much caffeine, sometimes a co-occurring ailment or disease, not taking meds on regular schedule, but each of these makes it more likely for me to be susceptible… read more

Agree with Jeffrey you a great enjoyable time no worry needed. We have meds to control epilepsy not allow it to control us. All need to keep in mind to relax
People With A VNS Noticed Any Seizures While Using A Microwave?
2 days running I had seizures after standing by a microwave oven while it was on.
