Hi Everyone,

I've had JME epilepsy for 20 years. I was always on Epilim which kept me pretty well seizure free. A while back, my fiancé and I decided that we would change meds as recommended by my neurologist so that we can have a baby.

It wasn't as easy as first expected and I had a couple of seizures, trying to transfer over to Keppra. My neuro added Frisium which seems to have worked and I'm now over a year seizure free.

I have absence seizures and I am on 250mg Lamotrogine twice daily and have now added Frisium/Clobazam. Lamotrogine in pregnancy seems safe but Frisium/Clobazam not so much. Interested to hear from anyone who has been pregnant on Frisium/Clobazam and their experience.

Can Frisium cause seizures?

I think that I am, I know that my meds do effect me once in a while, but that is because of that med, it's not intended and my character but of the meds I take, I am myself and have no prob with that, so what are your thoughts? Wondering

Believe it or not that's where I had my 1st grandmal. Playing in the park. My sister hit me in head w/ feet while swinging. Dropped to ground . Went into immediate seizure. Someone picked me up and rush me to St Mary's hospital across the street. That's where I was first diagnosed. 1965. 7 yrs old. Can't describe the feeling that came over me. I still haven't completely crossed it. I'll talk to psychiatrist. What do you all think? Sheryl

I'm doing ok. I still have auras, using onfi at night to help and it's going ok. Does anyone use onfi?

Like a lot of people, stress and anxiety have been the main triggers for my epilepsy over the years. Just wondering if anyone has used Frisium along with Lamicta and Keppra or any other meds for that matter. I would really appreciate it if they could give me an insight into how they reacted to it. In some people it will have a calming effect which had helped some people with epilepsy.

I'm on frisium (clobazam) to treat it. Was on phenobarbital but doc took me off because it changed my personality. I only remember having 2 in my life.

I don't really see nothing against it , I think we've come a good step since back in the day and their technology and techniques, also medicine and what is new nowadays, I usually don't? The medical system and the treatment and such etc, now and then, but I think it's moving forward in a slow but getting there way, more than a while ago and I am ok with that, my opinion, what are your thoughts?

Is anyone here taking frisium and is drinking alcohol in general very negatively reactive with it i.e. A couple of drinks not a session.
