The HH tumor is close to the pituitary gland. It controls mood swings as well as many other things in the brain. I have had 3 surgeries and have been seizure free since my last one June 15, 2018. But technically, the tumor will ALWAYS be there. It is too close to the pituitary gland to cut out without damaging other functions of the brain!!!

There's so many that they don't always have names or new ones come out. I see a lot of people have said what it is. I know grand mal are the ones that your unaware of & I had it only 2 times awake going into them but all the rest I was sleeping. I use to have tremors which is shaking like I was cold & only had very little that I needed to try the best to stay in bed but mostly I was able to do everything while they happen. I now have ones that affect my speech
