Is It Normal For A Small Seizure To Wipe You Out For The Day?

It's hard, my brother will tell me to get out of my room yet he has no idea how much it takes for me to get up when I feel triggered or after having a focal. I have no energy and I fear I will lose control of my wheelchair down the ramp if I go outside sometimes. Get yourself to listen to music when you feel like that if you can. I feel that it helps having my headphones on even if I don't remember half of what I'm listening to. It redirects thinking about it so much. Eating also helps me, protein is a big help some days and others carbs and sugar.

Thanks for that. Anything is useful as Iā€™m in my 60s and feel quit isolated even though I have a partner

Yes it can. I have focal awares that last from one to five seconds on average and mentally I'm done for the day. I still feel triggered even if no seizures happen for days.
