A lot of epilepsy meds can make birth control less effective. I made the decision to get a copper iud since it’s the only one that doesn’t affect any meds. Took a little while to make the decision but it was definitely worth it especially since it’s one less pill to take. Less worry about having to the take the pill on time or if any meds will make it less effective

It depends of medications you are on! I had double dose of birth control!
