Can someone please explain to me after having seizures for 30 years my most recent eeg came back with no abnormalities. Strange.

I loved to read but does anyone have to go back and reread paragraphs or pages to remember what you've read? So frustrating!!!

We all suffer in different ways because of epilepsy. A condition that has changed and for some distroid our lives. But there are people who are partners, parents or friends that we can't live without. So use this question to put the name of that special person.

I get 4 types, grand mal, absence, clonic and simple partical where im fully awake but unable to speak

I want to know how many other people this has happened to.

About 3.5-4 years ago, I had a seizure and the ambulance took me to the hospital. Well, they upped the dosage Tegretol that I was taking at the time. I workout regularly and today I tried a new workout. It was a hiit workout (high intensity interval training) from turbo fire with chalene johnson. I thoughtit was really fun! Th re n I was thinking that was reallyfuuuunnn... Wowwww. Slow motion then I was walking. Then all of the sudden my son is telling me to just get up off of the floor. sometimes when I get a little confused I'm afraid I had a absence/partial seizure and didn't realize it. For those of you with complex partial and/or absence seizures: what are your auras like? How do you know?

I have grand mal and myoclonic seizures, has anyone ever lost their ability to speak after a seizure? In my postictal state I could understand what people were saying and was only a little foggy, but if I tried to speak nothing would come out. I could communicate by writing, it was messy but I could still write.

Hi has anyone ever been knocked out unconiouse while in the bath or shower Before as for me I've had them in the bath and shower which is one of the places where I have mine and the other is when in the bedroom

I am very sorry about what has happened. I totally understand what you are feeling. And although there are many others out there that do not come near to understanding how we feel or even try, please know that keeping my faith, ignoring the ignorance of those who don't know, and finding a true friend that cares about me and listens to me while I'm in pain really helps me.
