Nightmares?
IDK if it's the medicine everyday (Lamotrigine, Lamotrigine ER, Topamax, Clobazam) or WHAT, but I have nightmares almost every single night. If it's not a nightmare, it's just very vivid, strange, and "real". I always wake up in a slight panic. Does anyone else have this problem?
I had a lady friend and she slept with me a few times and those times no dreams. We split up after a short time to none of my issues. But she had some own issues of habit. During that time I was under… read more

Does Anyone Feel Guilt Or Shame If One Does Not Wish To Reveal To Others They Have A Seizure Condition?

What If We Were Raised Differently?
i wonder... if we were raised differently or had seizures earlyer/later in live... is that inpacted our lives?
I was raised in a home & among friends & family that were & are extremely focused on what Jesus Christ did & does for us. To be thankful in all things and through all trials good & bad. If it wasn't… read more
Would An Epilepsy Podcast Named EP-ED Be A Good Consideration In Getting The Public's Attention?
I wouldn't understand what it meant, and keep scrolling. Titles should be descriptive enough to explain the content while remaining concise - it's harder than it sounds, the 'perfect' title can often… read more
I Could Only Work Where There Was A Bus Route And When They Were Running. I Could Not Work Until 9 PM. The Bus Stopped At 7.
I developed a significant Learning Disability, possibly due to where the seizures came from. I could not do any math, and at 12 pay attention for over 15 minutes. A Tutor at home helped. When required to take math of any kind I was so stressed could not do any normal classes. Eventually my Neurologist had me take a full Neuropsych Workup. They determined I did not remember a task if given directions, and did not continue doing a task if I knew it. If that was the case, the chance of my getting… read more

How Many Have Lost "friends" Because Of Epilepsy/seizures?
I have lost so many friends (well for me it was a lot) because people just didn't know or understand how epilepsy affects my mental state and moods. Or maybe they just didn't want to. I don't know. I'm just a really lonely person that has lost so much. And I hate it.
Yes, my partner has epilespy, a balance disorder, he had an ear stroke, a massive heart attack & triple CABG surgery... all in the space of 2 years... I have Multiple Sclerosis & several other… read more
Work Hours
This has been dwelling on my mind for years. I don't think it will ever stop. How often do you all work, or can you work? I have a job, but I have to call in many days because of seizures. So, I don't make much. Plus, last night, my boyfriend said that "I was like a roommate who pays less than half of the bills". We were arguing about my low libido (roommate). I guess he's just had enough. Either way, I feel bad about everything. I want to be able to work more. I want to make more money. I want… read more
