I actually went to a doctor appointment for my husband with him today. No arguments on the way, get there he does the test and we both start having a conversation with the doctor who did the test. She was so funny, we stayed there about 1 hour over our time and then my seizure. I am so tired of them happening at good times. We were all laughing, talking, having a good time and seizure. It didn't last long 45 seconds at the most and then I was rushed home and fell asleep .

I have been applying for work for the last 15 months and so far no luck I do get so interview's and the employer's are some how not taking me seriously I don't know is it because of my epilepsys condition and I didn't even write on my resume that I have epilepsys and also I got my forklift counterbalance license and when I applied for the forklift the employer's are saying that they are looking for people with experience from 3 to 4 year's. I have tried to get along with my mother-in-law. She always calls last minute and my husband falls in place like military call. I asked myself was I wrong? This is his mother. But she always checks with him and assumes I am not coming because I have been sick. I just think she doesn't care. We have already been having problems and then he tells me she called to go to Columbia to see his twin sister. Has anyone ever participated in a medication study for epilepsy? My hospital reached out to me saying they are participating in a study for a new med that needs more data, and they asked me if I'd like to participate. I'm 50/50 I do but i don't. I got the paperwork and read everything over the possible 'bad " outcomes or the pros. I could or couldn't be on a placebo. 33%chance of getting a placebo. If you ever did a study. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced their seizure medication suddenly stop working so well. I feel so down and just stuck as I don't know where to go from here. What happens when your medication stops working? Are there alternative therapies to medication and if so how would I go about being referred for them? I just want to be seizure free again as I am miserable.

Well I was really hoping for someone to go with me to my doctor appointments to make sure I understand any changes and my husband also. Especially my neurologist. My primary doctor thinks I might be able to get someone to help me with the housework a few days a week also because I get so tired trying to do it on a daily basis. My insurance would pay for it if approved.
