I've Been Having This Funny Feeling Going On In My Head All Day For Weeks Now Like Am Just Off Kneel And Not There.
Like you're going to have a sezuire but nothing ever happens. Your taking you're meds on time and eating and staying hydrated and everything but still feel off in the head. Like you lost your equilibrium and you know something is off but you don't know what.
David I've felt the same way I haven't had a Keppra level drawn in over 3+ years
Has Your Neurologist Ever Told You That Heat And Humidity Do Not Directly Trigger Seizures?
I ask because this is exactly what my neurologist told me today and explained. If you get overheated, then blood pressure rises and the symptom is feeling faint/light headed. When blood pressure gets too high, then a seizure can be triggered.
I do not care that he explains that heat and humidity do NOT directly trigger a seizure, because all that is significant to me that the seizure still happens. I have more seizures during the summer than the three other seasons combined. And climate⦠read more

How Would Youmake The World Undestand How It Feels To Live With Epilepsy
You see people who make fun of people with grandmal seizures or use them in their pranks.
So how would you go about making them understand what its like to live with epilepsy and what its like in those moments? When i think about how i would go about i can honestly say I dont know and I dont know if i could ever make them understand because they dont walk in my shoes or anyone elses shoes with epilepsy
I wrote a book. Hopefully its been helpful to people who don't understand epilepsy. Either they have loved ones that have epilepsy or they were recently diagnosed.
Do You Use Anything To Help You Remember Take Your Medication?
I have made a routine of taking my medications, however, when something disrupts that routine, I sometimes tend to forget to take my medication. How you found anything useful to help you remember take your medications?

Driving
Do you guys drive?
I used to drive but I have no car now. I want to get another car in the future. I need it here as the buses are the pits - long waits and not on time with the schedule.
Sensitive
I have found lately that after a seizure I am so much more sensitive to criticism and to well basically anything emotionally draining.
Am I the only one?
I'm hoping this is normal!
After I have a seizure, I do not feel any sensitivity. Otherwise, I feel like a normal person. Just certain things will not work on me, like the cherry cream for black under eye lightening, or⦠read more
Have You Noticed That You Feel Better If You Take Your Medication On A Full Stomach And Then Nap?
Yes! I take my morning Keppra with roasted almonds and go back to bed for at least an hour. I take my evening Keppra when I go to bed. Itβs not exactly a 12 hour spread between dosages - but it works.
The medication TOPIRAMATE π is what I'm π€·ββοΈ taking morning and night
What Causes Fatigue In Epilepsy?
My experience with fatigue and epilepsy is that the causes are unique to each person.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member. I hate drinking anything and water tops the list. I can go a day and drink only a cup of something and that does not bother me.
Does Anyone Notice How The Weather Has Effect On Your Epilepsy?
When the weather is dull and cold I have had more seizures, but if its nice and sunny I find it gives me a boost to do more than I usually do.
Great Idea For You Good. Good Luck ππ
Does Anyone Try To Fight Off Having Auras Or Seizures?
When I feel a aura coming on I say " Get Lost " out loud, what makes me feel better, today I felt a seizure coming on I took deep breath said "Get Lost " leave me alone " it stopped the seizure occurring, but it did still scare me a bit.
Loud noises and loud music I feel can be a trigger for a seizure.
