I Was Not Able To Learn How To Add Or Subtract In School. I Have A Learning Disability. I Eventually Went To College And Graduated.

Eventually in my 20s I was tested, and was found eligible to have a Temporal Lobectomy. I did it because there had never been control on meds. They called them Partial Complex. I was told by not having seizures on the right, other damage to the left dominant side did not take place. I am now controlled, but… read more

Can You Have 2 Different Kinds Of Epilepsy?
My recent stay in an EMU says my seizures come from the right temporal lobe but, it says there's a possibility of extratemporal epilepsy. I always thought I just had right temporal lobe epilepsy but the fact it shown there was a possibility of that does that mean I could have 2 types of epilepsy?
Happy Birthday!
What Makes It Different Than A Grand Mal, Or Are They The Same?
I have Partial Awareness Seizures. They were called Absence and Partial Complex. As a kid of 7 they called them Petit-Mal.

Eye flickering since seizures started and recently learned that the flickering could be seizures as well. During the seconds that I experience this issue I’m no in control. What is the name for this type of seizure?

If I Watch My Triggers, I Do Not Have Seizures
Mine were called Absence, now Partial Awareness. Where I live there is no Liability Insurance, so they call 911. I would not trust anyone to administer anything. I now wear a Lifeline button. I had a fall because I had not eaten due to a tooth being pulled, and was in the ER.
Mark, thank you.
