Yes . I flipped of my Mt. Bike riding it . Wasn’t serious. I have also had a seizure, falling into a sharp corner of my dresser, cutting a gouge in one of my shoulders
Overwhelmingly Sleepy
I have days where I have to really fight to stay awake. It's next to impossible to keep my eyes open.
I've been tested for a lot of things; but so far no answers.
Yesterday I underwent a Doppler ultrasound of my carotid arteries. (I'll have to wait several days for the results.)
Has anyone else experienced such sleepiness?

Have You Ever Gone A While Without Having Seizures And While It’s A Good Thing It Just Feels Weird And Uncomfortable?
All the time. In my past according to my journal. I read it and think darn I was insecure. Or frightened.
Guilt
Has anyone felt a sense of guilt because their child developed seizures?
I remember feeling terribly responsible when my daughter developed seizures. I thought it was my fault somehow.

MRI With A VNS Implant?
5 years ago a hospital would not do an MRI because of my VNS (they said it was like a pacemaker… immediate’NO’!) But I am having one done this week, and the form I had to fill out didn’t put ‘neurological devices’ in without the ‘NO’. Has technology gotten better, or am I getting a driver up at 6:30 am only to be turned away at the door? 🤷♀️

Those with epilepsy that had children what was your experience like? Did you have to be off your meds? Was it scary? I know I still have lots of time to worry and decide if I even want a family and Ik I can have the conversation with my doctor when the time comes but share your stories

Is Anyone On Here Taking Lamotrigine?
Is anyone on here taking lamotrigine? I’m up to 150mg twice a day at the moment which seemed control my seizures for a while, but I had several nocturnal seizures in the early hours of Wednesday morning which left me with a horrendous headache which lasted all day and unable to function. Didn’t sleep last night as I just can’t switch off. Tried to get some sleep today but not happening, which is leaving very tired and frightened. I wish this illness would go away….think I’m losing my mind.

Anyone Have A Goal But Can’t Complete Lack Of Motivation?
I’ve been trying to lose weight for 2 years now probably 3-4 honestly but losing pounds is definitely a challenge and building motivation is hard so usually I just listen to Motivational Music or something that describes a fight in a song. What do y’all do for more motivation? When you want to change.
