How do you know when the time has come to have surgery? is it when no other medication works and your seizures are uncontrollable?

Has anyone dreamt they were having a seizure although not actually having one. I had a dream last night I was having a seizure because I was ill in the dream and woke up in a panic. Maybe I was getting too hot while sleeping.

My nuero is supposed to be one of the best in the country however when I've mentioned nocturnal seizures which Im pretty sure I've had he dismisses it as there is no hard evidence. He also dismisses my migraines and exhaustion and dizzyness and is now dismissing the fact the nurse I saw thinks it is hormone related. He won't even bring forward my appointment. Hi all just a quick question excuse the spelling this is really one for the ladies alot of my seizures are when im on my period or due on and was thinking about having a hysterectomy to stop this has anyone else thought about it or had it done has it helped your seizures

It has hit me like a rock. Being that nobody is my friend anymore because of life changes a complete loss of memory and even living and recovering nobody is here for me anymore. I do all i can to remain a stable loving and responsible mother with no help. It is hard wishing and explaining how I am unable to take my kids to their friends houses or to the park or hoping I can make a new friend untill they realize they would have to be the only one making trips because this town is so far apart. What motivates you to pick yourself up off the floor after a seizure or to continue taking lots of medication?

Lady’s do you seem to have more episodes/ seizures around your period? My epilepsy only tends to play up the week before and the week after my period!? Does anyone else have similar symptoms?

I was reviewing my sleep log (started keeping one July 13, 2018). I haven’t been to bed before midnight. A couple of nights I went to bed at midnight but more often it is between 2am-5am. I don’t have a consistent sleep pattern. Some nights it’s 4 hours, some nights it’s 10 hours. Regardless of how many hours I sleep, I feel wiped out when I wake up.

What is your experience like?

I had my recent bad seizure in my local supermarket. I don't remember anything until coming round in the back of an ambulance covered in blood. The supermarket has it captured on security camera but my wife doesn't want me to see it. I am prepared to watch it and it could come in useful to send to the benefits agency to prove my illness. What should I do?
