I Was Wondering If Anyone Can Describe Exactly What Happens When They Have A Focal Aware Seizure.
I had a cluster of focal seizures yesterday afternoon. Well what I think are focal seizures. It's always my left arm and left leg that jerk, I feel like I'm in a dream like state almost. I'm aware but have this weird jerking in my left arm and left leg. I just feel bizarre when it's happening. I just take it easy after as I feel a bit tired and odd. I'm still getting my head around seizures as I kept them secret for so long as I just thought I was weird.

Why am I not allowed to drive, operate machinery, swim or ride a bike?. Is that all in my head, or is someone covering their ass because they know hey could be wrong?
Some seizures are not picked up by the surface EEG. Ask them about Interictal Epileptiform Discharges on your EEG.
I Suffered 2 Nocturnal Tonic/clonic Seizures. Put On 500mg Keppra 2x Daily. What Is Percentage Will Have Another Episode?
Since starting keppra month ago no further episodes and no side effects. I am 69 yrs old male in excellent physical shape and eat healthy. Am a reformed alcoholic for 8 yrs. I do not have a history of seizure disorder. What are the chances of remaining seizure free?
Now K is working well so any future seizures will not be as intense if any occur. Ease mind a little knowing this. Great already to be sizure free too.

I Had Left Hippocampus And Amygdala Surgery 5 Years Ago. Surgery Was Successful But Tend To Have Random Twitching Of Head And Shoulder Area.

Do You Think Being On You Period Can Trigger Your Seizures
I feel like they can because when I'm on my week i would sometimes have 2 or 3 seizures during that week even though i took my medicine and haven't been having seizures for weeks.This is mainly a question for the girls but anyone can answer

Are You Guys Scared To Drive
I'm scared to drive because the sunlight and flashes trigger my seizures sometimes and If i got in a car crash i would feel Like it was my fault because I got on the road knowing that I had seizures.
